What is hard techno?
Hard techno is the fast, distorted end of the techno spectrum — usually 140 to 160 BPM, built around heavy kick drums, distorted hats and industrial techno textures. It grew out of the German and Dutch warehouse scene and now drives the loudest dancefloors in Europe.
A CYTEC night in Paphos is hard techno in its purest form: a dark room, CYTEC's own light and sound, no phones on the floor and no commercial breaks.
