Terms and conditions for ticket sales

Version 1.1 · Effective date: 8 October 2026. These Terms are available in English and German. The English version is binding; the German version is for information.

1. Provider and contracting party

The provider and contracting party for the sale of tickets is:

MZK Media Ltd

Lordou Vyronos 61-63, 6th Floor, Flat/Office 602

6023 Larnaca, Cyprus

Company registration no. (Cyprus): HE 483959

VAT ID: CY60275907F

Email: support@cytec.app

MZK Media Ltd ("MZK", "we" or the "Organiser") operates the website cytec.app and sells tickets under the CYTEC brand.

2. Role of MZK Media Ltd

MZK Media Ltd is the organiser of the events held under the CYTEC brand and is responsible for marketing, promotion and ticket sales for the CYTEC brand. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer acquires the right of admission to the respective event.

MZK Media Ltd is not the operator of the club or the venue. Each venue is run by an independent operator ("the respective venue operator"). The respective venue operator is responsible for the operation of the premises, the food and beverage service, the cloakroom and the house rules applicable on site.

3. Scope

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all contracts concluded via cytec.app for the purchase of tickets to CYTEC events between MZK Media Ltd and the buyer (the "Buyer" or "Customer"). Deviating terms of the Buyer do not become part of the contract unless MZK expressly agrees to them in writing.

4. Subject matter

The subject matter of the contract is the sale of a ticket entitling the Buyer to single admission to the CYTEC event specified on the ticket, subject to these Terms, the respective event description and the house rules / floor rules of the venue.

5. Conclusion of contract

(1) The presentation of events and tickets on cytec.app does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to submit an offer.

(2) By selecting tickets, entering the required details and completing the payment process, the Buyer submits a binding offer to purchase.

(3) The contract is concluded once MZK confirms the purchase and/or makes the ticket available by email. The Buyer receives a confirmation at the email address provided.

(4) The contract text is not stored separately and cannot be retrieved via the website after conclusion; the Buyer receives the contract details by email.

6. Prices and payment

(1) All prices are in euro (EUR) and include Cypriot value added tax (VAT) at the current rate of 19%. The price shown on the order page is the final price; no additional service or booking fees apply.

(2) Payment is made via the payment services offered on the website (card via Stripe and PayPal). The charge is made upon completion of the order.

(3) MZK provides an invoice/receipt in electronic form on request.

7. Ticket delivery

After successful payment, the ticket is delivered electronically as an e-ticket (with QR code) to the email address provided and is available in the customer account. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the email address provided.

8. Admission, minimum age and proof of identity

(1) Admission to CYTEC events is permitted to persons aged 18 and over.

(2) A valid official photo ID may be requested at the entrance as proof of age. If the minimum age cannot be proven, admission may be refused without any right to a refund.

(3) The ticket must be presented at the entrance (digital or printed). Each ticket entitles the holder to single admission; admission may be refused for a ticket that has already been scanned or copied.

9. Right of withdrawal / exclusion for event tickets

Contracts for services related to leisure activities that are scheduled for a specific date or period are excluded from the statutory 14-day distance-selling right of withdrawal (Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU as transposed into Cypriot law). CYTEC event tickets fall under this exclusion.

The Buyer therefore has no 14-day right of withdrawal for tickets purchased. The provisions on cancellation, postponement and force majeure (clause 10) remain unaffected.

10. Returns, cancellation, postponement and force majeure

(1) Principle: Purchased tickets are excluded from exchange and return and are not refunded outside the cases set out below.

(2) Event cancellation: If an event is cancelled without replacement, the full ticket price is refunded within 14 days of the cancellation to the original means of payment.

(3) Event postponement: If an event is postponed to another date or moved to another location, the ticket remains valid for the replacement date. If the Buyer cannot attend the replacement date, the Buyer may request a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days of the announcement of the postponement.

(4) Force majeure: If an event does not take place due to force majeure (e.g. official order, severe weather, pandemic, power failure, strike), the full ticket price is refunded. Any further liability, in particular for travel, accommodation or other consequential costs, is excluded.

(5) Refunds are always made to the original means of payment.

11. Transfer and resale

(1) The private, free-of-charge transfer of a ticket, or transfer at the original price, is permitted.

(2) Commercial resale and sale above the printed original price (in particular black market / "scalping") are prohibited. Tickets acquired or offered in breach of this provision may be voided; in such cases admission may be refused without a refund.

12. House rules, conduct and phone/camera ban

(1) The house rules and floor rules of the respective venue, which are available on cytec.app and form part of these Terms, apply. The right of domicile ("Hausrecht") lies with the respective venue operator.

(2) Admission may be refused, or guests may be removed from the event — in each case without any right to a refund — in particular for breaches of the house rules / floor rules, on reaching the permitted capacity, in the case of evident severe impairment by alcohol or drugs, and for safety reasons.

(3) Filming, video and photography inside the club are prohibited. On entry, the cameras of mobile devices (smartphones) must be covered; corresponding stickers are provided. By purchasing the ticket, the Buyer expressly agrees to this rule.

(4) Inside the club, the mobile phone may be used exclusively and directly at the bar for payment purposes. Any other use of the mobile phone inside the club entitles MZK / the venue to immediate removal from the event without further warning and without any right to a refund.

13. Liability

(1) MZK is liable for the proper organisation and conduct of the events organised by MZK under the CYTEC brand.

(2) The respective venue operator is responsible for the operation and condition of the venue, the food and beverage service, the cloakroom and for any damage occurring there.

(3) MZK is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, in the case of slight negligence, MZK is liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

14. Discount codes, referrals (affiliate/RaveBuddy) and VIP tickets

(1) Discount codes are, unless stated otherwise, not combinable with one another, not redeemable for cash and only redeemable within their validity period. In the event of misuse, MZK may block codes or reverse the benefit.

(2) Referral/affiliate features (including "RaveBuddy") are governed by the conditions published for them. A claim to benefits exists only where used in accordance with the rules; self-referrals and abusive use are excluded.

(3) VIP complimentary tickets: VIP members receive at most one complimentary ticket for one person per event, issued in their own name. VIP complimentary tickets are personalised, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and valid only for the respective event. VIP status is granted by CYTEC and may be withdrawn at any time.

15. Newsletter and marketing

The purchase of a ticket is independent of receiving the newsletter. MZK sends marketing emails only with the separate consent (opt-in) of the Buyer; this consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Details on the processing of personal data are set out in the privacy policy.

16. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable data protection law (in particular the GDPR).

17. Governing law, consumer protection and dispute resolution

(1) The law of the Republic of Cyprus applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the state in which the Buyer, as a consumer, has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

(2) The place of jurisdiction, to the extent permitted, is the courts of the Republic of Cyprus. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply.

(3) Buyers may address complaints to the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service (Υπηρεσία Προστασίας Καταναλωτή). The former EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.

18. Final provisions

(1) Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

(2) MZK may amend these Terms with effect for the future. For a ticket purchase already concluded, the version published at the time of purchase applies.

(3) These Terms are available in English and German. The English version is binding; the German version is for information.
