What is hard techno?
Hard techno is the fast, distorted end of the techno spectrum — usually 145 to 160 BPM, built around heavy kick drums, distorted hats and industrial techno textures. It grew out of the German and Dutch warehouse scene and now drives the loudest dancefloors in Europe.

The Mackenzie Beach strip handles the commercial summer noise — CYTEC sits on the opposite side of that scene. We program industrial techno and hard techno only, in spaces that are not on TripAdvisor.
